DIY Ball Swing – $5

Exercise, core strength, vestibular input, movement, etc…..all important things for typical child development.

As long as you have rope around, a swing attachment (indoor or outdoor), and a Five Below store nearby, you can make your own ball swing for $5.  We found this super hopper ball (AKA hippity hop) at our local Five Below store for $5.

I took a rope and made a loop at both ends like this, then I attached a carabiner to each end.  One end loops around the handle of the super hopper ball and the other end hooks onto the swing set or ceiling mount.

Ready for swinging.

I can’t guarantee this wont eventually tear, but for $5 we will take the fun while we can.

I was curious to see if the handle ever broke on the ball? We were considering doing this for Christmas. Thanks!
