Using Play to Empower

When we change the way we view behavior, we change our relationship with our children.  If we can start to see sibling squabbles, cleaning up, and other behaviors during play as an opportunity, we can use those opportunities to guide our children to be the kind, empathetic people we wish for them to be.

Play gives us opportunities to

empower

model empathy

model grace.

Whether it’s siblings squabbles or cleaning up, the way we respond will be what our children learn.  Here are some videos that we get requests for on a regular basis.  They must be hard to find on our YouTube Channel.  We thought we would link them all here for easy access.

We hope they leave you feeling inspired.

Take what you love and leave the rest.
